Meyer Agri-Air Employment Application

• Meyer Agri-Air, Inc. hires up to 40 seasonal workers each summer. 

Ground Crew Duties:

• Must be 18 or older and become a Certified Pesticide Handler by the Iowa Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship
• Mixing chemical loads 
• Loading chemicals into aircraft
• Loading fuel into aircraft
• Cleaning off aircraft windshield
• Receiving inventory from retailers; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Washing and waxing aircraft
• Tracking chemical loads and aircraft
• Keeping the office space clean and orderly 

Office Staff Duties:

• Create, make, and print task packets from AgSync software
• Assist customers in making maps and orders through AgSync
• Upload the as-applied information into the computer and AgSync
• Enter the completion information for each task into AgSync
• Assist customers in answering any questions regarding their spray orders 
• Stay in contact with seed corn companies and track the whereabouts of field workers throughout the day 
• Assist in organizing and sending invoices
